Privacy & launch updates
Signing up is optional. You can download and play the free demo without giving us an email address.
What we save
For launch notifications, Technolay Games saves your email address, confirmation and unsubscribe status, signup and confirmation dates, and the version of the consent you accepted. We use these to send the Alex the Tinker crowdfunding launch announcement and manage your email preferences.
Confirming your email
We send a confirmation link from no-reply@alexthetinker.com. You are not added to the confirmed launch list until you confirm. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. If you did not request an email, ignore it or unsubscribe using its link.
Where it is stored
The website is hosted on Vercel. Subscriber information and email delivery are managed through Resend, our email provider. Your subscriber information is not published on the website or stored in your browser. We do not sell your email address.
Unsubscribe
Every launch email includes an unsubscribe link. Using it removes you from this launch list and records your preference so we do not automatically add you back. If you change your mind, submit a new signup and confirm it again.
Retention and requests
We keep active signup details for the crowdfunding launch. An unsubscribe record is retained to honour your preference. For questions, access, corrections or deletion requests, contact us through the Technolay Games profile.
Website preferences
The website does not use advertising or analytics tracking. Workshop music starts only when you choose it. Vercel processes routine hosting and security information needed to serve the website. Repair videos respect your browser’s reduced-motion preference.
